UCF Marine Turtle Research Crew
Our research on fibropapillomatosis in green turtles (Chelonia mydas) is done in collaboration with
Dr. Llewellyn Ehrhart's Marine Turtle Research Group. Doc Ehrhart and his students have studied
marine turtles in central Florida for over 25 years. Their long-term data sets and willingness to
collaborate enable researchers at UCF and throughout the nation to answer questions about sea
turtle biology. To learn about our research on fibropapillomatosis, click on the links below. Our
projects are generously supported by grants from the Sea Turtle License Plates Grant Program and
Sea World-Busch Gardens' Conservation Fund.
