Welcome!

......My lab is generally interested in behavioral ecology and evolutionary genetics. These interests have led us to address a diverse range of questions that utilize the unique biology of the ground cricket, Allonemobius socius, and the genetic power of the fruit fly, Drosophila melanogaster. Our current work resides at the intersection between the rapidly growing fields of sexual conflict and ecological immunity; and relies heavily on molecular genetic, quantitative genetic, behavioral and immunological techniques. Moreover, the recent conceptual advances in sexually antagonistic co-evolution has infused our research agenda with a multitude of exciting and novel research avenues, several of which are highlighted on the research page.
