To become a member of UCF's BGSA, you must:

1.  Be a registered UCF graduate student;
2.  Have current dues of $20 a year, which includes the cost of a BGSA T-shirt, paid;
3.  Attend at least 2 BGSA meetings, functions, or volunteer activities every year.  

The dues must be paid in full by September 8 (Fall Semester) & February 1 (Spring Semester).  Please bring your money (cash or check only) to Kim in biology room 407.

Why be a member?

You can present your posters, talks, defenses etc... at socials, and BGSA members will give constructive criticism so you can make it better before your committee sees it. We participate in departmental functions and you will get to know other students and faculty members in a friendly setting. We plan social events and service projects so you have a way to help make the planet better and/or have a beer with a few friends. Members can apply for the Boyd Lyon Memorial Travel Award and fund your travel to conference to give a talk or poster. You'll get food at socials and a great t-shirt to wear!!
