2007 Southeastern Ecology and Evolution Conference

Welcome

Welcome to the 4th annual Southeastern Ecology and Evolution Conference website. This year's conference is being held on March 16-18, 2007 at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. SEEC is a fun and stress-free meeting for undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctoral researchers in the environmental and life sciences to discuss their current research and meet new colleagues from across the Southeast. You do not have to present a talk or poster to attend the conference; we welcome all interested students to join us and learn. Similar meetings are held for the Northeast (NEEC), and the Midwest (MEEC). Last year's 3rd annual meeting at the University of Alabama was a great success and we are looking forward to continuing that tradition here at the University of Central Florida.

This year's SEEC will feature a keynote presentation from Dr. Reed Noss on Friday night, a Saturday night social, a silent auction, a closing presentation by Dr. Jane Waterman followed by an awards ceremony, and many opportunities to meet fellow researchers in the Southeastern states.

Early registration and abstract submissions are due by February 16th, 2007. The fees for this year's conference are $30 if you take advantage of early registration, and $40 if you register after February 16th. Please click on the "Registration" tab above to begin the registration process. The fee includes a complementary T-shirt, conference bag, social dinner, and two breakfast.

We look forward to seeing you in March!
